Paid To Surf!

There are many "Get Paid To Surf" programmes, but only a handful pay in pounds sterling. It is an effort to list only reliable legitimate payers with proven programmes. Advertisers pay the companies who run the programmes, and the companies pay you from their profits. They do track the sites you visit, but the information they gather protects your privacy. This statistical data gathered is also valuable marketing research which the companies can sell. Again, your identity and your email address is protected, and you do not receive spam.

You sign up to a programme which allows you to download an "ad bar". This software programme takes up a small bit of your screen and diplays advertising while you are surfing. You are paid for the time that this bar is running while you surf. Most ad bars also provide access to services such as search engines, etc. And sometimes the ads really do offer great deals. In most cases you create a profile used to send you ads you have an interest in seeing. Many people use these programmes simply to offset their phone bills. However, there is a great potential for generating a significant amount of income through referring others to the programme. When you join, you are given a user id which is also used to identify your referrals. You then receive pay for their time surfing as well. The more referrals you have the more you are paid. Some people who aggressively promote their programmes are earning substantial amounts in this way. You can too; the situation in the UK is still wide open. Some reckon that only 2% of the potential has been tapped.
